I, as I'm sure many people do, have since the beginning of my consciousness been searching for meaning in life. As my intellect grew, and my perspectives of the world widened, I have gained greater insight on myself and the world. Yet I acknowledge that there is so much unknown, and it frustrates me. I look towards college as a time in my life in which I will experience new understanding, yet this article worries me as it emphasizes the commercialization of knowledge. Even as a logical person, I still see value in the emotional growth of humans and I believe that our education system must address this.
